Sacred Space

We encounter holiness when we find others who share a profound affection and respect for a spirit that provides something truly worthwhile. There is the sanctuary of the mind, the temple of the body, the sacred ground of a temple, or the fortress of a great discipline. In any of these places, it is possible to come into contact with the Divine. Shrines can be found in ones time for prayer, a backyard garden, or even a website, if maintained with adequate care fitting to the visiting or indwelling deity.
